How Long Have You Owned This Scooter? 9 years
How Long have you been Scootering: 23 years
How did you acquire your scooter?
Was bought from a friend who had 2 smallframe projects for sale. We bought both of them. My ET3 was in the worst condition of the 2, both went through a complete restoration.
How do you typically use your scooter?
Admittedly I very rarely use this scooter anymore due to having other scooters I use. When it was first recommissioned in 2017 I done around 8000 miles attending various rallies and used it almost everyday.
Furthest Trip Ridden on this Scooter?
I think the furthest I’ve ever ridden this scooter would be to Millport Scooter Rally.
Any plans for your scooter in the future?
No plans for this scooter. One day it’ll probably end up in the corner of my living room.
Are you active in the scooter community?
I like to think so, yes.
How did you get into scooters?
Through my dad.

What is your fondest memory of riding your scooter?
I honestly have too many to chose from!
What do you find to be the most challenging aspect of owning a scooter?
Knowing when to stop buying more!
What are some of the most mistakes you/people make when restoring scooters?
Listening to what other people say. Do it how you want it.
What specific advice would you give to someone who is considering restoring a vintage scooter?
Be prepared to dig into the pockets a little deeper. Always costs more than you were expecting.
What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of owning a scooter?
For me honestly it’s the feeling of meeting up with friends and riding to rallies and events all across the country. That feeling you have when you get there on an old 2 stroke is just great! That’s if you get there…
What are some of the things you hope to see happen with scootering?
Long live the 2 strokes.
What do you most enjoy about your scooter?
The appreciation it receives whenever it’s taken somewhere.
What are some of the best places to ride a vintage scooter?
Anywhere that’s not a motorway!
Please share a funny or interesting story that for you wasa special moment., or something our audience might enjoy.
Where do you start. The list is massive! The one that sticks out to me tho is riding down to Cleethorpes Rally, over 200 miles through thunder storms, hail storms, floods and strong winds after setting off at 4:30am only for me to get within the last 60 miles of the rally site and my engine went boom coming down the A19. Honestly couldn’t have been more gutted!
How did you find Scooter Coalition
Introduced by A.N.Other
