Bought it off a long time friend, mouse
What Inspired you or attracted you to this scooter?
It was in my mate’s garage under a sheet just waiting for some one to rescue her, I could see in my mind what I had to do, so I went for it

Not been out on it yet still needs registration doing
Any plans for your scooter in the future?
All ways looking to improve on what I have achieved so I will never stop
Are you active in the scooter community?
I’m in the band of brothers scooter club ,great set of people and good friends we all raise money for overgate hospice ever year
How did you get into scooters?
Used to see west riding sc meet up at the furnace inn and loved the look off scooters and the way people dressed well before I could ride a scooter I was about 11 then and it stuck with me and 1984 was the time I got my first scooter a 50 special,had breaks in between but never lost site off the scene, had lots of scooters over the years.
What do you find to be the most challenging aspect of owning a scooter?
I don’t really find it challenging,it’s a passion it’s a way of life it’s all very exciting to be part of.
Do you have any advice for someone who is considering restoring a vintage scooter?
All ways do what you want to do with the style of the scooter, but all ways seek advice on the build,the internet is an excellent place for that ,if there is something you want to do usually some one has already done it ,mistakes well the paint work was a learning curve never done anything like this before , I have learned to weld , fabricate as spray paint and air brushing, I’m not afraid of trying any thing spent a fortune on everything I needed to do each job and just got on with it. It’s not perfect but I love it and it’s mine.

Riding and friends



How Many Scooters is enough?
I have 4 but would have more if I had the room, you can only ride one at once but you can sit and talk to as many as you have 👍🤣
What are some of the things you hope to see happen with scootering?
I wish people would accept that new scooters are as important as old scooters it’s the only way it can bring new youngsters into the scene
What is your fondest event or memory of riding your scooter?
I used to be in the kinky pigs sc in Bradford, we would all go to lens scooters in Shipley on a Saturday afternoon it was the pinicle of our week and we also used to go to Oliver’s mount in Scarborough and camp at the top it was a good time to be alive proper friend and a good laugh
How Do You Feel About Campers @ Rallys
I understand that a lot of scooterists are getting older and can’t ride so as long as they are happy and having fun then that sits fine with me having said that I all ways go on a scooter personally

The ride and the rallies
How do you see as the future going with regards to scooters?
I think when our generation are gone it will die out unfortunately
