I was lucky enough to have contacted Clive just has he was unpacking his new treasure fresh from North of Auckland to Christchurch. He hadn’t even ridden it when he sent us these videos and photo’s.
A beautifully restored machine Im sure you will agree?
I am privvy to the price Clive has paid and I was shocked. Comment below what it would probably cost in the uk. Maybe Clive will tell us?
Hopefully we will be getting some more info soon, when I asked him what he has called it, he said:
“‘Old Mate’, but I have not ridden her yet so ask me after I have”.
So Old Mate it is for now, watch this space???
Clive also has a GTS300 and a PX 200. He has had a Rally 200 and several PX 150’s and once had another Vespa like this a ’57 wide frame with light on mudguard but had to sell it after the earthquakes.
He is over the moon to have another at last.
