How did you acquire your scooter?
Bought it off Facebook market place in 2015 as a customised Stone Island with a TS1 engine. In the put a Cyclone 5 speed box into it. In 2016 at tbe Morland Mayham scooter weekend I crashed the scooter trying to take a corner at 65mph. I smashed the scooter up (and my sholder) tbe insurance company paid out £4.5k. So I had the frame straitened (by Steve Rowe) the scooter was resprayed and airbrushed with metal flake. By Myke Taylor (Myke sprayes all my scooter)
What Inspired you or attracted you to this scooter?
The gold colour and the Stone Island graphics
How do you typically use your scooter? It’s my favourite ride out of my collection
Furthest or most Eventful Trip Ridden on a Scooter?
My second scooter rally ever, 1983 to Gt Yarmouth from Leicester. Two up on my brothers PX125. Neither of us had a licence. We got pulled over and gave false names on the producer..
Any plans for your scooter in the future? Not this one

1979 watching Quadrophenia like most kids my age
What do you find to be the most challenging aspect of owning a scooter? Finding time to ride
Do you have any advice for someone who is considering restoring a vintage scooter?
Spend move than you can afford. It will be worth it in the long run

What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of owning a scooter? Just owning one
How Many Scooters is enough?
I’ve got six custom Scooters that are road worthy. 2 LD’s that run, 2 GP’s awaiting restoration / customising and a GS Mk2 1963 in bits ready to be rebuilt one day.
What are some of the things you hope to see happen with scootering?
More youngsters to come into the scene

Fine, as long as they bring a scooter with them.
A story, tale, event or joke.
I used my customised scooter to get my scooter racing licence. Passing motor bikes on the race circuit track racing day and seeing their faces of discuss. I also lent my scooter to two other boys on the day as their own scooter failed on the scrutiny (exhausts too loud)
What’s your thoughts on autos? Look good, but sound shite..
