Getting Decent parts that Fit….Distance Riding Due to Medical issues
Do you have any advice for someone who is considering restoring a vintage scooter?
Do most of the work yourself get Stickys Manual. Join a Club Do your Research into Scooter Dealers… Cheap is not always the best buy decent parts…

What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of owning a scooter?
I just love Scooters I’m 69 now I love it more than ever obviously I don’t ride the distances I used to but still enjoy meet ups talking with like minded people
How Many Scooters is enough?
Depends if you are a rider or just want to pose with a Garage full of Scooters for me 2 Gts was my Commuter Scooter for Work as had the Jet been in the past . Gts for a little more Comfort
What are some of the things you hope to see happen with scootering?
More New Young Blood coming into Scootering cut out the Snobbery you ride what you ride be it a Modern Auto or a Classic Geared Scooter
What is your fondest event or memory of riding your scooter?
I just love riding with my mates… Great Feeling
How Do You Feel About Campers @ Rallys
I’ve not got a problem with that My Wife used to drive our Camper to the Rally I would ride with my mates job done….
What do you most enjoy about your scooter?
Being an Avid Collector of Vans Shoes I just love riding my Vans Themed Scooter
How do you see as the future going with regards to scooters?
I think it’s good with Royal Alloy,Scomadi,Gts Scooters it’s the way forward
A story, tale, event or joke:
Going to Gt Yarmouth in 86 Easter Scooter Rally I Snowed most of the way myself and my Eife were ill prepared Open Faced Helmets ,Pilot Jackets,Combats…. we stopped and Sheltered out of the Snow my Wife said take me to a bus station so I can get home I didn’t we rode 90+ Miles only To turn around and come home She said that she would never go on my Scooter again and she never did.
I’ve been to DISC 85,DISC86,DISC30 On the Same Scooter….
