What are some of the unique features of your scooter? Its a Series 1 replica which has been assembled and cutomised by myself. It has some recycled scrap parts in it.
Any plans for your scooter in the future? The ecoterrorist laws have really scared my pocket. Its going to stay like it is for a good long while.
Are you active in the scooter community? I think so

What do you find to be the most challenging aspect of owning a scooter? Right now, dealing with the ecoterrorist laws which are after us.
What are some of the most mistakes you/people make when restoring scooters? Overlooking what you have in front of you. Sometimes you ignore the value that a particular scooter has and you decide to do a horrible thing to it. I haven’t done it but I have seen it done to perfectly unrestored machines. Restored Lambrettas are fine, but good unrestored machines are rare to find, and since there aren’t any records for them, it is important to preserve them.
What specific advice would you give to someone who is considering restoring a
vintage scooter?
Be sure to know what you are restoring. Sometimes, the paint is better left alone. Especially if you live in a country like Spain where not everybody knows how to paint well.
Where have you found the best resources for vintage scooter parts and information?
Years of experience.
What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of owning a scooter?
Sitting in front of it and looking at it. They are gorgeous to look at.
What are some of the things you hope to see happen with scootering?
Laws changing in favour of classic scooters.
What do you most enjoy about your scooter?
Its uniqueness.
What are some of the best places to ride a vintage scooter?
Anywhere in Spain. Mallorca especially. By all means, go there, spend a holiday and rent-a-Lambretta in Loco Wheels. The island has the perfect size for small wheels.
How do you see as the future going with regards to scooters?
Its looking very bad. We are going to need to hide them from the law and the ecoterrorist laws.
Please share a funny or interesting story that for you wasa special moment., or
something our audience might enjoy.
There are so many. The first one I remember is that I let my friend borrow my first Lambretta for the summer when I lived in Kentucky. He and his brother used it a few times and in one occasion they were chased by the police. Aparently they hid in some bushes and they elude them. He told this story to me years later, when I didn’t own the scooter anymore.
