IOW rally in 84 on my PK50 with my mates who I still see to this day.

Buying parts of eBay. Always use reputable dealers and try to buy the best to save money in the long run
What specific advice would you give to someone who is considering restoring a vintage scooter?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help or embarrassed to use a reputable dealer to help produce your dream
Where have you found the best resources for vintage scooter parts and information?
The internet is a godsend. Also club members knowledge
What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of owning a scooter?
I’m 16 again every time I’m riding
What are some of the things you hope to see happen with scootering?
I’m pretty content with the scene as it is. I’d like to see more youngsters enjoying what we have and we have several great young lads in the Lyons
What do you most enjoy about your scooter?
I enjoy the way it introduces me to new people. Always gets a conversation started.
What are some of the best places to ride a vintage scooter?
Love riding in Europe. Great roads
How do you see as the future going with regards to scooters?
It will be challenged by the core of us getting older and emissions laws

On our first rally under our own steam to the IOW in 84, the five of us in our group arrived at the campsite to find we had one small 2 man tent between us. We clearly hadn’t thought it through but luckily the weather was great and sleeping in a parka was okay.
