Literally too many features to list , I’ve tried to alter every single part of the scooter in some way, everything recycled and repurposed, just like the directors quote for Mad Max Fury Road, where the name Razor Cola , Max’s bare metal car comes from.

How did you acquire your scooter?
I was given it by a lad who was going to throw it away because of the rust, I couldn’t let that happen
What Inspired you or attracted you to this scooter?
I’d already built my other full custom scoot Road Warrior, so I wanted one based on Mad Max and one that looks like it was out of Mad Max
How do you typically use your scooter?
Rallies,Scooter Days and Bike nights ( bikers love it 😂)

Whitley Bay on Road Warrior in the early 90s
How do you buy 2 stroke & engine oil?
Specific, from a chosen supplier
Any plans for your scooter in the future?
No ,I think it’s virtually finished, maybe a few minor add ons , don’t want to go over the top 😂😂

How did you get into scooters?
Bloke who lived over the road had lambrettas in the early 70s it all stemmed from him really
What do you find to be the most challenging aspect of owning a scooter?
Don’t really find anything too challenging really I’ve built enough of them now, just the price of parts and how they fit can be a problem, that’s why I built this scooter from parts I had lying around.
Do you have any advice for someone who is considering restoring a vintage scooter?
If you can try and do it yourself if you’re able, it’s the way I learned, and build the scoot you want , not what you think will please others

What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of owning a scooter?
Personally when people appreciate the work you’ve put in and the attention to detail, mind you a lot have said “ what’s going on in your head 😂”

Never enough
What are some of the things you hope to see happen with scootering?
Hope it can carry on as long as possible, I didn’t think it would still be going for all these years but I’m grateful that I’m still going on rallies/ events with people I’ve known for over 40 years.
What is your fondest event or memory of riding your scooter?
Winning Best Vespa at Scarborough for Road Warrior in 1988 first time out with it
How Do You Feel About Campers @ Rallys
I think in a perfect world we wouldn’t want them there but with age you have to adjust, and to be honest there has always been vans( support/ breakdowns) since the 80s
What do you most enjoy about your scooter?
Nowadays it’s a stress reliever, it’s nice to get on it and forget life’s problems
How do you see as the future going with regards to scooters?
Sadly I think it’s a generation thing , there’s not many youngsters coming through,so it might fade away in the next decade sadly
