As a Young mod growing up looking at scooters the series 2TV175 always to me was the iconic mod Scooter

I use my scooters for coffee runs at night or weekend right out

Any plans for your scooter in the future?
I have no plans for the Scooter in the future, but I have eight other scooters which keep me busy

I founded the Northern Ireland Scooter collective in 2015
How did you get into scooters?
Being a mod at a very young age back in the 80s all your friends were mods and got scooters
What do you find to be the most challenging aspect of owning a scooter?
The most challenging aspect of warning a Scooter especially two strokes is constant maintenance
Do you have any advice for someone who is considering restoring a vintage scooter?
If you’re going to restore a vintage Scooter, you have to take into consideration the purchase price of the Scooter then the total rebuild Cost,
painting, new parts if required chrome work and customisation and any engine work that may need done
Best resources for scooter parts and information?
I buy my Scooter parts online and for information usually go onto forums. There’s always someone there to help.



What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of owning a scooter?
For me on the Scooter is about getting out relaxing it’s great for your mental health and seeing all your friends and having a laugh
How Many Scooters is enough?
I own 9 scooters and I wish I had the time to get them all out more regular
What are some of the things you hope to see happen with scootering?
I would love to see more young people getting into scootering
What is your fondest event or memory of riding your scooter?
My fondest memory is riding my Scooter from Worthing to Brighton on August bank holiday weekend a few years back the weather was absolutely amazing and there was thousands of people there
How Do You Feel About Campers @ Rallys
I think campers are great at rallies because the whole family can attend and let’s face it. A lot of us were in tents for years but we’re all of a certain age were campers or B&B is a must nowadays.
What do you most enjoy about your scooter?
For me, the most thing I enjoy about my Scooter is the way I choose to design them and it expresses your individuality
How do you see as the future going with regards to scooters?
I personally love two strokes, but a lot of people nowadays are moving towards automatic scooters
A story, tale, event or joke.
I remember travelling to Kelso in my van I had a custom Scooter in the back with a camp bed and a cooker and my friends were laughing at me . They were all camping and that night it was a washout and the next morning about 7:30 am. They were all outside my van freezing wet and waiting on me to put the kettle on.
