I remember Rhyl Rally back in the 80’s started on Friday with Desert Rats SC, had an issue with the
scooter, got towed back home, then had a 20 hour ride with the Rat and Rodent SC through the
night, getting into many scrapes, including Gary riding England Expects into a ditch, and arriving the
Saturday morning, getting drunk, having a laugh, and riding home Sunday shattered, rode into the
back of a car that had pulled over and smashed other scooter! oh the fun!
